So I have been with Get Weekly Paychecks for a while and just now have really started to track all of my links.  In fact, the banners to the right on this post have brought me in 1 leads yesterday and then I took the banners off for a bit, then put them back on… don’t ask!

But the pictures below are from yesterday and today from the august co op.

The pic above here is from today so I have got 5 leads from the co op and one from my other blog.

So still I think the co op is good but blogging is still the number one way to generate leads online!

Let me repeat that!!  You get leads by blogging!  

There are so many systems out there that say you need to buy this or that to get leads.  You can get your own free leads by blogging! 

I bought a couple shares in the Get Weekly Paychecks co op and according to the tracking, I have got more leads from the banner at the top of this blog posts than from the co op!  

The co op was $50 a share and I'm getting leads from this free blog instead of from the co op shares.  I bought 2 of them and again through tracking my links, I have found that this very same blog is bringing in leads vice the shares I paid for!!

that was from the campaign.  The august 12 co op you see got me 6 views and no leads.  the blog got me 2 views and 2 leads.  hmm.  I think I will just save my money and just blog more!!

As you see on the right of the screen a lot more activity from the 10th to the 11th.  I really started cranking out blog posts on the 1-9 of August 2013 and you can see the big spike.  The co op started on the 16th. 

So again you get leads from blogging!

Everyone is a bunch of liars online

Again let me repeat that!!  Everyone is a bunch of liars online.  Every time I turn around there is one person saying you should do ABC strategy and that XYZ strategy is wrong.  Then the next guy highly recommends XYZ strategy and that ABC is wrong.

Essentially everyone just wants you to get in their deal and join their program.  So how does one navigate through all the pushing and pulling and effectively promote their own business?

I really don’t know as I’m learning that one myself.

What I do see working is paid traffic.  I have been highly successful with Facebook PPC, this blog (which is free traffic), and THIS CAPTURE PAGE(which I have generated over 100 leads so far).

So, if you get to a place where you are generating 1-3 leads consistently every day, then I would recommend just keep doing that.  Still keep an eye out for good marketing information and products but just keep on keeping on!

How not to lift weights after a layoff

I could sit here and explain the proper way to come back into lifting weights after a layoff but the funny thing is that I never actually follow my own advice!

So I can honestly tell you how NOTto lift weights after a layoff!

Start back at the same weights you were lifting before.

Let your ego get in the way and out lift the ‘other guy’

Don’t stretch and just do one warm up set before you get started.

With those three tips, you should be just fine!

Ok really do not do what I highlighted above but I can’t really say that I will not ever do those things again so..

Either which way, one does not become a huge monster overnight.

Just like with an online business, one does not become magically successful overnight!  It’s takes a lifetime of working on it!

Speaking of which it pays to stay consistent!!  You don’t get big by lifting for 4 hours on one day.  You get big by lifting a little systematically over a sustained period of time.

Just like my blogging efforts.  I am really starting to get traction with my blogging.  I have written about 600+ blog posts so far between here and my Empower Network blog.

Also I been getting a lot more leads from that banner at the top of this post.  Just in the past 24 hours I have got 6 leads!!

It takes work, but it is worth it!  It is actually easy.  If you want to make money online, then join something like this, and simply start a free google blog and start sharing your success!

2 stupid simple tips to get more blog traffic

This is going to be a quick one.

The first tip is to blog consistently.  It doesn’t matter if that is once a year, month, week, or preferably once a day.  The more consistent you are with your blogging the better.  The more often you blog is a bit better, as long as you are putting out good content!

The more regularly you blog encourages more people to check back often for update.  If you update your blog on a sporadic basis, then your visitor will be just that!  Sproadic!

The second tip is to leave comments on other blogs linked back to your blog.  Most bloggers love good and quality blog comments.  The more comments you leave out there the better.  I have recently started implementing this strategy and am getting progressively more people coming to my blog on a daily basis.

Not to mention, that the banner I have at the top (now that I’m tracking my links) is getting me on average 2-4 leads per day!

Why not keeping track of your links is costing you leads!

This is something that I have heard so many times and yet still haven’t let sink in through my thick skull!

For a long time I haven’t kept track of my links whether they were business opportunity, affiliate products, and network or internet marketing links.  I would post ads on Craigslist and Backpage, blog, and really that was about it.

Just when I started actually monitoring my links and tracking where leads and clicks were coming from, I started seeing how making money online really becomes as easy as ‘following the numbers.’

For example, I thought that nobody clicks on banners.  At the top of this blog is a banner to which before I didn’t think anyone clicked on banners.  As soon as I started tracking those banners, I found out that in fact they are getting clicks and I am getting leads from them.

In fact, yesterday that very same banner at the top of this blog post got me 3 leads!!!

What does that do to my ‘motivation’ to blog?  That actually pushes me to take more of the right actions to promote my business instead of thinking that nothing is working.

Just tracking your links will give you a new found insight to how your business is progressing!

Blog about your success to bring you more success

Try something new for a little bit!  Just blog about your successes everyday and I’d venture to say that the more you are thinking about your success (for blog post reasons) the more success you will find to document!

So, I’m actually giving this a shot as well.  Yesterday I generated 7 leads.  Usually Friday thru Sunday I hardly get any and then Monday thru Thursday I get a lot.  So, yesterday was a great day!

How to simplify your blogging strategy in 4 fast, fun, steps…

In the world of blogging there is so much out there to do.  Backlinking, SEO, Guest Posting, Social Media, and etc., etc., etc..

Here is the simplest, easiest, thing to keep when mind for you blogging strategy!

Just think of it as an online conversation. 

That is what blog comments (or lack of them in my case, hey if you get any value from this leave a comment!), forum marketing, social media, going viral, and etc. etc. etc. again!

Just think of blogging as having a conversation.  What ever your niche is, blog about it!  Also go visit other blogs in the same niche (yes, your competition) and leave comments.  Those little comments provide back links.  The more back links the better!

In the beginning, I thought that if you just hammer out 1,000 blog posts you will get traffic.  I used to write about 5-7 blog posts per day.  I was getting traffic and making money (to see how click here), but there is an easier way to leverage blogging.

1)  Write at least one blog post per day (or week, or month, the more often the better)

2)  Every single blog post share on all your social media sites

3)  Every single blog post find a similar blog and leave a comment backlinking to your post

4)  Do step 3 5-10 times

5)  Remember it’s a conversation, you wouldn’t walk up to a stranger and throw your business card in their face!  (ok I originally said four steps but I lied)

Ways for College Students to Earn Extra Money

I am currently going to school at Mira Costa Community College here in Oceanside.  I have a 3.5 GPA and am working hard to keep it that way.  I am using the GI bill to go to school so that means I actually have to pass my classes.

If I don’t pass my classes the VA stops paying for them and I’m responsible for paying that money back!

The reason I bring those things up is because my first semester I only went to school part time.  I took two classes at night and during the day I was working about 60+ hours a week stuffing vending machines. 

Needless to say I have actually failed those two classes I was taking but regardless I have found something that I can do while in college to earn extra money that doesn’t take a lot of time or get in the way of my classes.
