Through the Tears of my mistakes I know my “why!”

A lot of people say you need to know your why!  Your why is the biggest reason of your life.  We all have one and sometimes it takes a while to discover it.  I was painfully made aware of what my personal why is.

My personal “why” keeps me going amid my mistakes, failures, successes, fears, and insecurities.  It is when I need to find some reasons to keep going.  To keep going when I want to drive my car right past the office and never come back.  To keep going amid all the rejection and negativity.

The point is I am going to succeed or I’m going to die in the process but you will find me still scratching, fighting, clawing, and grabbing at my personal definition of a successful life.

I cry sometimes because I want it so bad and am up very early and up very late working on my dream.  I will write blog posts and articles because I want to be successful.  I will continue to talk to people everyday because I want to be successful.  I will continue to push forward with everything inside of me because I have four kids that I haven’t talked to because of personal mistakes and failures on my part and I will not rest until things are made right.

That is my why that will keep me going strong amid every challenge that comes my way.

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Helping other’s become successful will make you successful!

One thing that took me a long time to really learn was that in order to become successful, you have to truly help other’s become successful.  In the beginning, I was thinking “I need to make some money” or “I need people to buy XYZ product.”  With that mentality, it was no wonder why I wasn’t successful.

It kind of hit me like a ton of bricks.  It’s also the law of attraction at work.  I was putting out to the universe “I need to make money” and “I don’t have enough money.”  So I was getting back more “need” to make money and events that highlighted my “not having enough money.”

Also people can sense that when you are “only out for yourself.”  It wasn’t directly but still I was indirectly.  I have heard it said that “there is nothing worse than a starving salesman!”

When you give off the vibe of helping others, you will get that back.  Other’s will “help” you out and want to buy your product, service, or into your business.  Shift your focus from “trying to make money” to “wanting to help others” and watch how much your world shifts!

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Focus Creates Success

Focus Creates Success

I will say it again.  Focus creates success.  To be successful at anything one needs to focus.  I learned this lesson again the hard way and am still trying to learn this.

In the beginning of my network marketing aspirations, I bounced around from company to company.  I honestly didn’t stay with one program long enough to become successful at it.  Network marketing is the easiest profession as all you really have to do is to give presentations and show others how to do the same.

Giving presentations is as simple as sending someone a video, online audio, or present the program to them yourself in person.

My problem was I kept going from program to program and not showing the plan to anyone.  I lacked focus therefore I lacked success as well.

I picked my horse now and now I’m going to ride it!  That is the mentality you need to be successful in anything!  Focus creates success!

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Write down what you WANT!!

If you just set a goal and write it down…

You will succeed in obtaining it.  Period!  A lot of people will read this and say “I know what my goals are” and not write anything down.  Therefore nothing will ever change.

“If you want things in your life to change, you are going to have to change things in your life.”

What I have learned is that by “knowing the score” or writing numbers down that effect my life such as income or business goals that just having an increased awareness of them helps me focus on them.  Focusing on those particular numbers also forces me to constantly think of how I can improve them.

In my online businesses I wrote down the number of people who visits my blog, the number of referrals I have, the amounts of money that each business is making me everyday, and those are the main ones.  Just by writing those numbers down, keeps me focused on them and forces my subconscious to figure out how to raise them.

In life, I have painfully learned that you have to focus and persevere.  Focus and persevere and then focus and persevere some more.  Write down what you want and it is yours.  It’s as simple as that.

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Perseverance beats all else!

Have you ever decided that you are going to do a certain thing even if it kills you?  No matter what obstacles that arise, you are going to do that particular thing.  Period end of story!

Perseverance is a vital trait of all successful people.  Don’t take my word for it.  Just look at anyone who you consider successful and you will see it.  What keeps people going when things aren’t going right?  What keeps you going in the face of negativity and the Nay-Sayers?

Perseverance was something that I had in certain areas and really had to “learn” it in other areas.  I was super determined to do XYZ but when it came to ABC it was a very difficult thing.  I guess it really matters what the topic is.  If you really want something, I mean really want something with your gut, with everything inside of you then, you will get it.

You will find a way to obtain whatever it is you are desperately wanting.  Just look at crack heads that are homeless on the street for a moment.  They are some of the most ingenious people alive.  They can be flat busted broke and homeless but they will find a way to support their habit.  Let’s learn from the crack heads!

Let’s do the same to change our lives to live on our terms!  Persevere amid everything going on in your life and you will succeed.  Period end of story!

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Not following through will not bring success.

So today, just writing this second blog post I consider myself successful.  The biggest problem I ever had in life was and still is, not following through.  I would make a plan and not stick to it.  I would contemplate for hours over a certain plan for my online business, marketing, or whatever.

It would be so bad sometimes that people would have conversations with me and I would answer them, but not hear a word they said.  I would literally check out and be in space.  Well not space because being lost in space is not focused.  I was laser focused.

The perfect plan would be born.  I would stick to it for one or two days.  Not one or two years, months, or even weeks.  Not doing anything is the worst thing you can do if you are building anything.  I would lose steam, question my plan, or get overwhelmed with all of the junk that’s on the internet when it comes to my ventures.

The absolute best thing I have learned is that you have to pick a direction and have a specific goal.  Once you find the way to achieve it, put your whole life into it until you obtain it.  You have to obsess with your goal and take action.  Take action and then take some more action.

The wrong actions will bring you the right results if you are focused on your goal 100%.  The right actions will bring you the right results if you are focused on your goal 100%.  If you disagree with the first statement, then research the placebo effect and get back with me.

I hope that you get some value out of this.

Rob's Success Blog

This is my first post here actually.  There are multiple reasons as to why I am writing this blog.  I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and I’m sure there are plenty more that I’m going to make.  In fact, I might as well just say that I plan on making more as I go along.  It’s just a natural part of life and that’s how we learn and grow.

Success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal.  I really am still getting that concept through my thick skull.  To me, that means that as long as you are taking action toward your goals, then you are successful.  To me, that doesn’t mean having $100,000 cash in the bank although that may or may not be a particular goal.

I guess what I’m saying is that success isn’t a destination but a constant journey.  The universe is ever expanding and growing.  There is no set point any of us can ever obtain.  We will constantly be moving toward a goal or destination.  The point is to not be thrown about by not having any goals you want.

One other thing I understand is that we may not necessarily now “how” we are to do something.  As long as you know “what” you want, the “how” will take care of itself.

I hope that you get some value out of this.
